ACTIVITIES


Since 1974, engineers from Thermodata, INPG and CNRS have been working on the creation and the maintenance of high consistency thermochemical properties databases, and on the development of complex equilibria calculation codes.
Their purpose is to make reliable and fast thermochemical calculations, and to provide to the chemist or the materials engineer a global thermochemical  approach of complex problems.

Today, this work is available on your personal computer.

CONSULTANCY DEPARTMENT

This department certifies a total confidentiality on preliminary discussions, researches and results during the continuance of the contract. However, except particularly clause, the produced basic data are assigned to maintain the public databases.
Its expert scientific team offers :

.       assistance in analysing problems and formulating possible solutions,

.       appropriate tools like software and databases which have been adapted or especially developed to meet the specific needs of industry and research.

A large number of applications have been realized for industrial and research studies :

Specific thermodynamic database for in and ex-vessel applications.

Specific thermodynamic database for Mox fuel.

NOBLE METALS

SGTE noble metal alloys database.

 


SOFTWARES

Five softwares are now available for thermochemists :

COACH

Coach is a database software program specialized in thermochemistry.

GEMINI

2 thermochemical equilibria calculation codes.

GEMPLOT

To represent graphically complex chemical equilibrium calculated with Gemini1 and Gemini2.

DIAGRAM

To visualize calculated phase diagrams.

 

.       The user can create his own datafiles, on request Thermodata can  supply compiled customized datafiles.

.       Installation instructions and a comprehensive user manual are supplied with the softwares.

.       Support is provided by telephone, E-mail or fax.

.       Very clear dialog boxes.

.       Hypertext help.

All these products are integrated in a software package : Thermosuite.
This package provides access to thermodynamical properties concerning more than 5000 chemical substances and allows the user to calculate equilibrium in very complex chemical systems.
